Injustice 3 Character Roster Leaked

A recent Reddit rumour regarding Injustice 3 may have revealed the full line up for the next instillation of the Injustice games.

The Reddit leak has suggested that the next Injustice game will be expanding its playable roster by a huge amount and grabbing characters from every corner of the DC universe. While some mainstay DC characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Green Lantern would always be sure to feature, the list claims that they will be introducing some of the more unique DC characters such as John Constantine, Cheshire, King Shark, Nekron and Red Tornado. The list also states that the Anti-Monitor will appear as a pre-order bonus and more characters will arrive after the games release with DLC fighter packs including Etrigan, Killer Croc and Mortal Kombat’s Johnny Cage. See the full list below.

Main Roster

Aquaman / Ocean Master, Batman / Terry McGinnis, Beast Boy, Black Canary, Blue Beetle / Green Beetle, Booster Gold, Cheshire, John Constantine, Cyborg, Deathstroke, Flash / Impulse, Green Arrow, Green Lantern / John Stewart / Guy Gardner, Harley Quinn, Joker, King Shark, Lex Luthor, Metallo, Mirror Master, Nekron, Poison Ivy, Ra’s Al Ghul, Raven, Red Tornado, Robin / Nightwing, Supergirl, Superman, Wonder Woman / Artemis, Anti-Monitor (Pre-Order)

DLC Roster

Etrigan, Livewire, Johnny Cage (Mortal Kombat), Killer Croc (Premier Skin for King Shark), He-Man (Masters of the Universe), Liu Kang (Mortal Kombat), Neo (The Matrix)

The post claims that there will be 4 DLC fighter packs meaning that there would be a lot more characters to be revealed but it also mentions that several characters will be borrowing ideas from the previous Netherrealm Studios game - Mortal Kombat 11 - in terms of gameplay and special attacks. It gives the examples of; Red Tornado, who will borrow from MK11’s Fujin; Metallo will borrow from MK11’s Terminator; and John Constantine, who will borrow heavily from MK11’s Shang Tsung.

The game is stated to be revealed at the Game Awards by Ed Boon and Geoff Keighly and will have a release date of May 2022 however, like all game leaks this needs to be taken with huge grain of salt. DC Fandome 2021 is upon us so we may get a pleasant surprise regarding the next instalment of the Injustice franchise but here’s to hoping that we officially hear something before the year is over.

What do you think of this roster? Is there anyone you’d like to add? Who would be your main for Injustice 3? Let us know in the comments below
