RUMOUR: Daredevil MCU Reboot In Early Development

Possibly some of the most exciting news to come out for Marvel this year, it seems that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is receiving a rebooted series set within the current MCU canon.

After being re-introduced back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during Spider-Man: No Way Home, the demand for a revamped Daredevil Disney+ series starring Charlie Cox has been as high as ever. And it seems as though fans’ wishes may be coming true.

According to Production Weekly’s new report, Marvel Studios are indeed working on a Daredevil series with it currently being developed under the name ‘Daredevil Reboot’ and supposedly being produced by Kevin Feige & Chris Gray. Though the production listing doesn’t list any cast members at this moment in time, it’s safe to assume that the major cast members like Cox’s Daredevil & Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin – who are already present in the MCU – will be joined by both Deborah Ann Woll's Karen Page & Elden Henson’s Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, returning to their respective roles as well.

Though supposedly not a continuation of the Netflix series, this new Daredevil reboot would give new, more unfamiliar fans a chance to dive deep into the MCU version of the character without being confused with continuity ties to the previous Netflix series.

Charlie Cox’s Daredevil seems to be a huge part of Kevin Feige’s plans for Phase 4 & 5 of the MCU, and if the reports are indeed accurate, we will be receiving a lot more MCU Daredevil news sooner than you think.
